CURLING ROCKS. LET’S CURL!

The Beaverton Curling Club (BCC), located in Beaverton, Ontario, CANADA, provides opportunities for physical activity, friendships, and fun for all ages.

The ice is out and the 2023-2024 curling season is now over… but what a solid season it has been at the BCC! Our membership numbers grew and most importantly our Youth Program is back. We also had three classes from Beaver River School visit, each with a day of instruction supported by volunteers. We welcomed new advertisers and had sponsors for all of our Invitational Bonspiels. We added 3 new ‘Curl & Dine’ events which proved to be very popular amongst our members. Our rental business was strong with private Bonspiel and Lounge rentals. Thank you to all volunteer support this season and for making our club a fun, friendly welcoming place to be. Tell your friends to join us!

While ‘curling’ is done and the ice is out fundraising activities for our membership and our community are just beginning. Our three main BCC Fundraising Activities (check out upcoming events for more details) are as follows:

• MacGregor Meat & Seafood Sales (deadline for order is April 29 with pick up on May 9)

• May 25 - ‘Loonie Auction & Dinner’ (Email us if you want a ticket and/or have an item to donate)

• September 6 - Annual Memorial Golf Tournament at Western Trent
